Constellation is building a foundation model of human state, translating multimodal human data into generalizable embeddings to power clinical, robotic and AI systems. It is a venture-backed team of 15 to 20 researchers and engineers based in San Francisco's Mission District.

About the role

Constellation needs an operational anchor to keep its physical workspace running. This is a part-time role of 15 to 20 hours per week, spread across 3 to 4 days, with flexible hours but in-person presence required.

What you will do

• Keep the office organized, clean and welcoming, managing daily tidying and coordinating the weekly deep-cleaning vendor.
• Manage ordering of supplies, keeping the kitchen stocked with groceries, drinks and snacks, and monitoring office equipment.
• Coordinate ordering, delivery, assembly and layout of office furniture, standing desks and ergonomic equipment as the team grows.
• Take immediate ownership of large-volume waste and cardboard recycling, establishing a scheduled commercial waste solution with Recology SF or building management.
• Act as main point of contact for building management, HVAC maintenance, ISPs and utility providers.
• Assist with processing office-related invoices and rent payments through the AP tools.

What they are looking for

• Prior experience in office management, hospitality or administrative operations; early-stage startup experience is a major plus.
• A no-task-is-too-small attitude and a proactive, self-starting work ethic.
• Extremely organized, with strong vendor management and negotiation skills.

The role requires lifting, pushing and carrying up to 50 lbs, including shipments of compute hardware, office furniture and waste bins, and extended periods of standing, walking, bending and reaching.
