About the team

The Delivery team develops the viral and non-viral delivery technologies behind Merge Labs' neurotechnology platform, partnering with bioengineering, neuroscience and in vivo teams to build delivery systems that support rapid preclinical testing.

What you will do

• Identify leading non-viral delivery technologies and secure access through collaborations.
• Formulate, adapt and characterize LNPs and polymeric nanoparticles for CNS nucleic acid delivery.
• Define success criteria and develop assays measuring efficacy and tolerability.
• Design and interpret in vivo studies in rodents and large animals, comparing delivery technologies head to head.
• Evaluate pairing non-viral technologies with ultrasound-mediated blood-brain barrier opening.
• Assess durability of expression and manufacturability alongside performance.
