Merge Labs is a frontier research lab working to bridge biological and artificial intelligence. It is developing new approaches to brain-computer interfaces that interact with the brain at high bandwidth, integrate with advanced AI, and are intended to be safe and accessible.

What you will do

• Lead architecture, design, validation and productization of mixed-signal electronics and instrumentation for high-bandwidth brain interfaces.
• Own PCB and system architecture, signal and power integrity, EMC/EMI, power, clocks and triggers.
• Own automated test and transfer to manufacturing.
• Build reusable scientist-facing measurement hardware and define quantitative performance criteria.
• Manage vendors and contract manufacturers, and mentor engineers on EE practice.
