Precision Neuroscience is building a next-generation brain-computer interface for people living with neurological conditions. Its first product, Layer 7, is designed to help people with severe paralysis operate digital devices using only their thoughts. Founded in 2021, the company has raised more than $180 million and has initiated human trials with hospitals across the country.

About the role

This role supports the daily operational needs of the clinical, engineering and manufacturing teams. It owns the physical flow of materials into and around the company, from clean room consumables and lab supplies to general office shipping and receiving, and keeps inventory records accurate through disciplined cycle counting and supplier follow-through. It also serves as a key point of contact for the office.

Clean room and lab supply management

• Maintain stock levels of clean room consumables, monitoring usage trends and reordering proactively.
• Ensure supplies are stored, rotated and handled per clean room protocols, tracking expiration dates and lot numbers.

Shipping and receiving

• Manage day-to-day office and lab shipping and receiving, logging inbound packages and verifying contents against purchase orders.
• Prepare outbound shipments including international, with proper documentation for sensitive or regulated materials.
• Maintain logs and resolve discrepancies with vendors and carriers.

Inventory control and supplier coordination

• Perform scheduled and ad hoc cycle counts, reconciling physical counts against system records and investigating variances.
• Maintain accurate records in NetSuite, including item setup, bin tracking and unit-of-measure consistency.
• Conduct supplier performance reviews and maintain vendor records, reorder points and lead times.

Office management

• Welcome visitors and guests, keep common areas stocked and organized, and order office supplies.
• Act as a point of contact for facilities needs and support internal meetings and events.

What they are looking for

• 2+ years in inventory control, logistics, warehouse operations or supply chain coordination, ideally supporting a lab, clean room or manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of inventory management systems, NetSuite a plus, and Excel or Google Sheets.
• Ability to lift up to around 40 lbs and work in a clean room following gowning protocols.

This position is based in the Addison, Texas office. Remote workers cannot be considered.
