Beacon Biosignals works on precision medicine for the brain through two business lines: a Life Sciences platform offering at-home EEG for the clinical development of neurological and psychiatric therapeutics, and a Diagnostics business combining EEG and cardiopulmonary signals for at-home sleep and CNS assessments. About the role

This role leads the complete biosignal algorithm development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and data curation through development, validation, production deployment and documentation.

What you will do

• Determine the appropriate methodology for each challenge, balancing deep learning against simpler approaches.
• Build internal ML and deep learning infrastructure, introducing architectures that enable rapid experimentation.
• Establish best practices so algorithms are documented, tested and maintainable, with CI/CD and non-regression testing.
• Present findings to stakeholders and support client engagement.

What they are looking for

• Several years of industry ML and deep learning experience in healthcare or another regulated sector, with a production deployment track record.
• A strong foundation in digital signal processing and statistics, and proficiency in PyTorch or equivalent.
• Current knowledge of transformer architectures and large-scale model training.
• Software engineering excellence including testing, version control, documentation and containerization.
• Experience with biosignals, medical imaging or time-series datasets.
