About the role

This role leads a regional sales team promoting treatments for serious neurological, endocrine and psychiatric disorders. It covers recruiting and developing the team, exceeding regional sales goals, managing key projects, and collaborating with commercial cross-functional teams.

What you will do

• Lead the regional sales team through recruiting, developing and retaining talent, with strategic direction and performance coaching.
• Drive regional implementation of sales strategies and develop targeted approaches for psychiatric and neurological markets.
• Analyse sales data and market trends, and hold the team accountable for execution against objectives.
• Spend time in the field with each account specialist to observe and coach performance.
• Manage regional budgets and ensure compliance with FDA guidelines and industry standards.
• Build relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare professionals, and coordinate with pharmacies and payers on market access.

What they are looking for

• A BS or BA with 8+ years of biotech or pharmaceutical sales experience including 3+ years of first-line sales management, or a master's with 6+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• Proven sales performance against quota, and successful launch experience in competitive environments.
• A strong understanding of the healthcare regulatory environment.
